Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce, With Dustwrapper

A scarcely found commemorative edition in time for Hercule Poirot's last appearance in 'Curtain', published in the same year.

Originally published in 1920, this novel was the first detective work by Agatha Christie, introducing her fictional detective Hercule Poirot.

The story features many of the elements that became icons of the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, such as a selection of suspects that all hide facts about themselves, a number of red herrings and surprise twists.

With a sketched map of the room Poirot investigates.
