The story follows the world's greatest pet detective as he is hired to find Irving, the kidnapped star of the Pussyfoot Cat Food commercials. With illustrations throughout by Reynold Ruffins. Art Buchwald was an American humorist known for his popular columns in 'The Washington Post'. Buchwald's work focuses on political satire and commentary and won him numerous awards including the Pulitzer Prize for Outstanding Commentary and the World Humour Award.

In the original cloth binding. Externally, excellent with light shelf wear. The original unclipped dust wrapper is in very smart condition with shelf wear to the extremities and spine. Light sunning to the spine. Light age-toning to the flyleafs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
