In two volumes, being Volumes II and III of a total of four volumes.

In the original unclipped dustwrappers.

Volume II is the fifth edition, sixth impression, published in 1977. Volume III is the third edition, third impression, published in 1975.

'A History of the English-Speaking Peoples' is Churchill's history detailing the life of Britain and its former colonies throughout the world.

Churchill covers from Caesar's invasions of Britain, up to the end of the Second Boer War.

Illustrated with the occasional full-paged map throughout the two volumes.

Written by Winston Churchill. Though this work was well received, his best known historical work is 'The Second World War'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, fine. Dustwrappers with very minor edgewear and a few light marks. Volume III dustwrapper a little sunned to the spine, with a price sticker to the front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
