The Puffin Annual was created after the success of the Puffin Post, a periodical magazine printed for 'The Puffin Club' which was designed to encourage early readers. Puffin Books is a children's imprint of the established publishing house, 'Penguin Books'. Edited by Treld Bicknell, Frank Waters and Kaye Webb. With Vol II, No 1 of the Puffin Post, from 1977, featuring articles, news, and adverts.

In the original hardback binding. Externally, very smart with some shelf wear to the edges. Fading to the spine. A few small marks to the upper rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean with just the odd handling mark. The Puffin Post is in the original paper wraps. Externally, very smart with just the odd small mark to the panels.
