With a very scarce loosely inserted publisher's promotional bookmark, with an image of Shardik to one side, and a list of characters to the other.

Adams's fantasy novel is set in the fictional Beklan Empire, and follows the events around the discovery, capture and military and symbolic uses made of a bear named "Lord Shardik" by those who subscribe to a set of unusual religious beliefs.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper in exceptional condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
