This set features a collection of works from Robert B. Parker's 'Spenser' series. Parker is best known for this series, which follows the story and cases of a fictional private detective and inspired the TV series 'Spenser: For Hire'. The set includes: 'Promised Land', 'The Widening Gyre', 'Valediction', 'A Catskill Eagle', 'Taming a Sea-Horse', 'Pale Kings and Princes', 'Crimson Joy' and 'Playmates'. 

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper to all but 'Pale Kings and Princes' which is clipped.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper to all but 'Pale Kings and Princes' which is clipped. Externally lovely with only slight shelf wear to all. The 'Proof Copy' is very smart with fading to the spine and marks to the rear. The wraps are excellent to most with edge wear and slight marks, and very smart to the rest with slight sunning to the spines to 'Sea-Horse' and 'Playmates' and very small closed tears to the extremities of 'Promised Land'. Tidemark to the head of the verso to 'Widening Gyre'. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
