Contains a bibliography of Clarke's work. This collection of Clarke's short stories includes a number of his well known works including the inspiration behind 2001: A Space Odyssey; The Sentinel. All the included works were written between 1937 and 1971 and were originally published in a range of magazines, including Vogue, Playboy and Infinity Science Fiction. Arthur C. Clarke was a British science fiction writer and inventor, who is widely regarded as a key figure in the popularisation of space travel. His screenplay for the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey, which was co-written with Stanley Kubrick, is considered to be one of the most influential films of all time. For many years Arthur C. Clarke, along with Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asmiov, were considered the 'Big Three' of science fiction writing.

In a blue cloth binding in the original price clipped dustwrapper. Externally in excellent condition, with just some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrapper is price clipped. Dustwrapper is in excellent condition with just some wear to the extremities and some slight sunning to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Institutional library stamp to copyright page. Pages bright and clean, with just some marginal age toning and the odd spot to the foreedge.
