    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    First edition of this work. Contains six illustrations on two plates and nine maps. Collated complete. A collection of original dispatches written by Winston Churchill during his time as a War Correspondent 1897-1900. Churchill was a British statesman, soldier and writer who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom twice from 1940 to 1945 and 1951 to 1955. Edited by Frederick Woods.

    In the original blue cloth binding. Lovely condition, minor shelf wear only. Clipped dust jacket, also lovely condition with the odd spot. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean. Excellent condition throughout.
