First edition, first impression of Virginia Woolf A Biography Volume II, Mrs Woolf 1912-1941 by Quentin Bell in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper.
Bell's two volume personal biography of his famous aunt has been well received. This is Volume II only.
Quentin Bell was an English art historian and author. This work won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, the Duff Cooper Prize and the Yorkshire Post Book of the Year.
With fifteen monochrome plates. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. The dust wrapper has some slight wear to the extremities and two small tears. The binding has some very slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
