First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First edition. Richard Stanley "Dick" Francis CBE FRSL (1920 - 2010) was a British steeplechase jockey and crime writer, whose novels centre around horse racing in England, while also featuring a variety of locations and occupations.

Condition

In a cloth binding, with clipped dustwrapper. Externally, in excellent condition with only minor wear to extremities. Dustwrapper has slight edgewear with laminate starting to lift in places, with handling and slight marginal tidemarks, with loss to rear flap. Internally, firmly bound. Bright but with occasional slight foxing to endpapers and first few pages, slightly spotted to textblock edge.
