The scarce first edition of this work. A children's activity work, all focussing on cars. The activities include matching cars to their owners, fill in the blanks, crosswords, colouring pages, snakes and ladders, and more. As is typical with children's activity books, some of the pages have been filled in or coloured. Illustrated and written by Ralph Steadman. Steadman is a Welsh illustrator, who is best known now for his illustrative collaboration with the writer Hunter S. Thompson. His style of illustration is very satirical, with caricatures of politics and society.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. The head and tail of the spine are lifting. Loss to the rear board, with score marks to the rear board. A little bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. A few pages have pencil marks from a child formerly filling out the activities.
