What Our Customers Say...

Description

Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

A scarce edition of this horror novel from American editor, author and writer Abraham Merritt, better known by his byline, A. Merritt.

This was Merritt's final novel, first published in the UK in 1935, and here in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.

A sequel to his 1932 novel 'Burn Witch Burn!', this tale of black magic is advertised by the dust wrapper as 'one of the weirdest and most compelling stories of modern witchcraft ever written', as Dr. Alan Caranac investigates the cause of the suicides of four men.

A 1972 edition printed by the publisher in order to 'make available again some of the best books by the best authors of our time [...] that have been unobtainable in recent years'.
