Four of Anthony Kent's exciting maritime novels featuring his popular character, Richard Bolitho. The Bolitho series focuses on the Royal Navy, from the American revolution past the Napoleonic Era. Comprising of: - 'Sloop of War' - 'Command a King's Ship' - 'In Gallant Company' - 'The Inshore Squadron' Anthony Kent was the pseudonym of the British author, Douglas Reeman. Reeman published numerous novels relating to the Royal Navy, many of which are set during the Second World War and the Napoleonic Wars. He is best known for his Bolitho series. The half title pages are present.
Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth bindings. Externally, excellent with little shelf wear. The original, unclipped dust wrappers are in excellent condition. Light shelf wear to the edges. Spine is darkened for, 'Command a King's Ship'. Sunning to the spine of, 'In Gallant Company', with some light spotting to the reverse of the dust wrapper. The odd spot to the inside of the dust wrappers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean. Light spotting to the fore-edge of, 'Sloop of War', and, 'In Gallant Company'.
