The first edition, first printing with a complete numberline to 'Stormqueen!' and ;'The Second War of the Worlds'. First translated edition, first printing, to 'The Return of the Time Machine', first published under the title 'Die Reise Mit Der Zeitmascine' in 1946. 

Signed by the author to the title page to 'Stormqueen!'. 

Three volumes. 

Cover and frontispiece illustration by Karel Thole to 'The Return of the Time Machine', by Jack Gaughan to 'The Second War of the Worlds' and by 'Michael Whelan' to 'Stormqueen!'. 

This set features three science fiction novels published by Daw Books, a science fiction and fantasy publisher. The set features; 

'The Return of the Time Machine' by Egon Freidell, a sequel to H. G. Well's popular science fiction work 'The Time Machine'. 

'The Second War of the Worlds' by George H. Smith, a sequel to H. G. Well's iconic work 'War of the Worlds', set in a parallel world called Annwn which is attacked by the Red Planet. 

'Stormqueen!' by Marion Zimmer Bradley, a novel from the 'Darkover series' which tells the story of Dorilys who can cause storms and a world ruled by men who use a breeding program to create powerful humans.

Condition

In the original publisher's paperback. Externally very smart with only minimal edge wear, slight marks to the rear and a slight lean and creasing to 'Stormqueen!'. Internally firmly bound with age toned and clean pages.
