1971 Time & Space Measuring Instruments from the 15th to the 19th Century
What Our Customers Say...
Colour Plates, Early Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper
The first English language edition of Time & Space Measuring Instruments from the 15th to the 19th Century by Samuel Guye and Henri Michel in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper.
This interesting study looks into the history of technology, the history of our understanding of time and how we as a society used tools to aid this understanding.
With lovely monochrome and colour illustrations throughout the text.
In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There is some slight wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper. To the binding, there is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
