This is a first edition, with just over two thousand copies published.

Contains a number of translated poems, his early poetry, haiku experiments and satires.

Clark Ashton Smith (1893-1961) was an American writer and poet. His works were highly regarded by H. P. Lovecraft and Ray Bradbury. He was renowned for his weird fiction and Cthulhu Mythos tales, publishing his work in Weird Tales magazine.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper has just some slight wear to the head and tail of the spine in particular, with a small tear running down the front board. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
