    The first edition, first impression, in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.

    Set in the fictitious town of Piemburg, in South Africa, Sharpe lampoons the apartheid, and the police officers who enforced it.

    The first novel from English satirical novelist Tom Sharpe, best known for 'Porterhouse Blue', and his series of 'Wilt' novels.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. A touch of sunning to dust wrapper back strip, with light edgewear to back strip head and tail. Light spotting to dust wrapper reverse, most concentrated to reverse of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
