This volume explores the woodcuts of HAP Grieshaber. 

HAP Grieshaber was a German artist best known for his large format woodcuts, he developed a signature stylised aesthetic through his printmaking, rendering his subjects in more than three colours at a time and using cubist-inspired aesthetics.

This volume presents his woodcuts with over one hundred examples, some being in colour. With six colour folding plates. 

There is also a smaller pamphlet tucked into a pocket to the rear pastedown which contains a German catalogue of the prints and introduction to HAP Grieshaber. 

With a slipcase.

Condition

Boards in the original paper wraps. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original slipcase which is also excellent.
