Description

Illustrated, With Dustwrapper

Bound in cloth with gilt lettering and unclipped dustwrapper. Translated from the English by Anne Roullet. With numerous full-page illustrations. Jean (or Janet) Clouet (1480–1541) was a miniaturist and painter who worked in France during the Renaissance. He was the father of Francois Clouet. Little is known about Peter Mellen.

Condition

In a cloth binding with the original unclipped dustwrapper. There is only some slight wear to the extremities, with just some slight bumping. The dustwrapper has some slight bumping. Internally the pages are bright and clean.
