Description

Three volumes on the history of writing, seals, and coats of arms based on research from the Diplomatic Archives of Europe. Published in German. The present collection includes volume 17, 21, and 22 of this detailed work by philologist Edmund Max Stengel. From the History Faculty Library of Oxford University, with a bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume. With a withdrawal stamp to the reverse of the title page of each volume. With a sticker from the Faculty Library of the Oxford History department to the front board of the 1976 volume.

Condition

In a grey cloth library binding. Externally, very smart, with just some light bumping to the head of the spine. With some light marks near the front joint of the 1976 volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
