Signed by the author, Reginald Fraser Amonoo and dated 1970. This theses was written whilst Amonoo was studying for a Doctorate at University of Paris. Amonoo is a Docteur en Litterature Francaise and has written several published papers such as ' La Rome de Corneille Mythes et Realities' and 'Reflections on Language Situations with Particular reference to Ghana'. This work analyses the theatre of Corneille in the context of the consulate, empire and restoration. It looks at the survival of Corneille's theatre and its relevance. This work is in French. Corneille was a French tragedian. He is regarded to be one of the great seventeenth-century French dramatists alongside Moliere and Racine.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding with paper wraps. Externally, very smart. Minor bumping to the extremities. Author's signature to the title page dated 18 March 1970. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
