Illustrated, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper

An uncommon reprint of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original dust wrapper, clipped and repriced by the publisher. Illustrated with a frontispiece and numerous photographs and diagrams accompanying the text. A 1970 reprint of the 1905-6 edition of Jane's Fighting Ships. This volume is profusely illustrated with photographs and diagrams, alongside information on fighting ships from navies across the world. It also contains facsimiles of the advertisements from the original edition. Possibly the most interesting aspect of the 1905-6 edition are the articles by combatants in the Russo-Japanese War, with a special series of photographs showing the ships destroyed. This volume is an uncommon collector's item and a fascinating reference tool.

Condition

In publisher's original cloth binding, with original dust wrapper, clipped and repriced by the publisher. Externally cloth is smart, with only light shelf wear to the boards and spine. Dust wrapper is bright and smart with a little sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
