First published in 1689 (although dated 1690), the essay was one of the principal sources of empiricism in modern philosophy. Locke explores human development and describes the mind at birth as a blank slate filled later through experience. Written by John Locke, an English philosopher and physician, widely regarded as one of the most influential of Enlightenment thinkers and commonly known as the "father of liberalism".

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
