The first edition, second issue, in full pictorial paper covered boards. The very scarce first issue was bound in cloth backed boards.
With the stamp of Kevington School to the front free endpaper. With no further stamps.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Light rubbing to back strip head and tail, otherwise firmly bound. Light edgewear to dust wrapper back strip head and tail, with adhesive residue running the length of the head and tail of the reverse of the dust wrapper. Stamp to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
