What Our Customers Say...

Description

Proof Copy, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon

A unique and intriguing novel about a man who records the decline of his childless marriage. Instead of presenting facts, he finds himself recording daydreams and fantasies, refashioning rather than recording his life. A novel of psychological exploration, where the character discovers along with the reader.

An uncorrected proof copy of this work, with a loosely inserted compliments card from the publisher, Jonathan Cape.

Written by twentieth-century British philosopher, Richard Wollheim, known for his works and ideas on the mind and emotions, who wrote a mixture of articles, novels, reviews, edited collections, and even became involved in the British Society of Aesthetics.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, very smart, with just some light edgewear and sunning, particularly to the spine. Internally, front hinge is slightly strained. Remaining binding is firm. Pages are bright and clean.
