Original Binding

The set consists of volumes for the years 1969, 1971, 1974 and 1976. With publisher's advertisements Wisden's Cricketer's Almanack is a cricket reference book published annually. It is one of the most famous sports reference books and was launched in the late 19th century. Norman Preston was an English cricket journalist who edited the Wisden's cricketer's Almanack from 1952 until his death in 1980.

Condition

In yellow linen bindings. Externally, very smart with jsut some light shelfwear and fading to the spine and handling marks to the boards and fore edge. Personal bookplate of Robert Orlges Wright to front pastedown on 1974 volume. Ink signature of Alan Richomme to front free-endpaper to 1976 volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean.
