First edition of The Nice and the Good by Iris Murdoch in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. 

Murdoch's eleventh novel explores thriller and romantic comedy genres set in contemporary London, and follows the characters complex relationships in the context of a tragic suicide. It was shortlisted for the 1969 Booker Prize. 

Iris Murdoch was an Irish-British novelist and is was ranked twelfth on The Times list of the 50 greatest British writers since 1945.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There are some slight creases to the extremities of the dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
