A set of seven issues of 'Oz', uncommon to see this popular magazine sold as a set.
This set includes issues Nos. 10, 13, 35 (special pig issue), 43, 44, 45, and 46, ranging from March 1968 to January/February 1973.
'Oz' was an alternative/underground magazine that embodied the counterculture movement of the 1960s. Founded in Australia in 1963, this parallel UK version was published in London from 1967 to 1973, with contributors including Germaine Greer, Michael Leuing, and Philippe Mora.
This magazine led to the creators being prosecuted on charges of obscenity in both Australia and the UK.
Each issue is profusely illustrated throughout, with a variety of counterculture articles, letters written in by readers, and articles on menstruation, Van Gogh, anarchy, politics, war, and more.
Including three sheets of typed text from the White Panther Party.

Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart. Some light handling marks. Spots to the wraps of Number 10, with a closed tear to the head of the rear wrap. Wraps of Number 13 are creased. Lacking most of the rear wrap of Number 35, with heavy wear to the remaining part of the wrap, which is slightly adhered to the final leaf of the magazine. Front wrap of Number 35 is torn, with edge wear to the wraps. Number 45 is folded in half. Internally, firmly bound, Number 35 is generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
