With a new preface by the author. First published in 1927. An uncommon work.

Illustrated with thirty monochrome plates including a frontispiece. Collated, complete. 

A lovely art history work including topics such as 'Garden Scenes' and 'Architecture'. 

Christopher Hussey was a historian and one of the chief authorities on British domestic architecture in the early twentieth century. 

No dust wrapper present.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
