Dedicated to Miss Marjory Hick, from her sincere friend and admirer, H. G. Wells. Hick was the daughter of Wells' personal doctor.
The personal copy of English author and artist, Brian Aldiss, with a note loosely inserted signed by Wendy Aldiss, the executor of the Aldiss estate. Known for his science-fiction novels, Aldiss was greatly influence by Wells, becoming vice president of the international group in Wells' honour.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with a small mark to the front board. Dust wrapper is very smart, with a stain to the front panel and light spotting in places. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
