The first edition of this work. Signed by the author to the title page. In the original unclipped dustwrapper. 'Keziah Dane' is a novel about a widow in Kentucky who lives on the brink of poverty, trying to look after her children after her husband dies in a flood. After Keziah's daughter is raped and attacks her rapist, she accidently kills him, which brings many consequences upon the family. Written by Sue Grafton, who is best known for her detective novels that feature the Californian detective Kinsey Millhone.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, near fine. Very small amount of bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrapper with light edgewear, with small closed tear to the rear flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Signed by the author to the title page.
