First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Featuring the original illustrated dustwrapper designed by Leigh Taylor. Kingsley Amis was a prolific author who is best known for his novels 'Lucky Jim', 'I Like It Here', 'Girl, 20', and 'The Old Devils'. Kinglsey is also the father of the author Martin Amis.

Condition

In original quarter paper covered binding with cloth boards and with original unclipped illustrated dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Dustwrapper has a little chipping to the head of the rear wrap. Light shelfwear to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
