Volume I is the eleventh edition, published in 1967. Volume II is the fifth edition, second impression, published in 1968. Volume III is the third edition, published in 1967.
Illustrated with the occasional full-paged map throughout the three volumes.
Written by Winston Churchill. Though this work was well received, his best known historical work is 'The Second World War'.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards. Dustwrappers with repairs to the reverses. Minor edgewear and light marks to the dustwrappers. A little rubbing to the wraps. Spine of the dustwrapper for Volume III is lightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
