First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
With the original unclipped dustwrapper. 'The Old Glory' comprises of three pieces which were to be performed together as a trilogy. The first two pieces, 'Endecott and the Red Cross' and 'My Kinsman, Major Milineux' were adaptations of Nathaniel Hawthorne's short stories for the stage. The third piece, 'Benito Cereno' was an adaptation of the novella by Herman Melville. This is the first U.K printing of this play. A smart copy.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is very smart with just some minor sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
