First Edition, With Dustwrapper

First edition first impression. It deals with the theme of pyschological illusions and is in the genre of metafiction. John Fowles (1926-2005) was an English novelist whose writing is inspired by Jean Paul-Sarte and Albert Camus.

Condition

In a cloth binding with the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with just some light wear to the spine. Fading to the head of the spine and staining to the tail of the spine. Dustwrapper smart, with loss to the head and tail of the spine, Slight chipping to the extremities. Tape repairs to the head and tail of the spine and flyleaf to the verso of the dustwrapper. Water ring to the verso of the dustrwapper Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
