Snowman was a British jeweller, painter and the chairman of Wartski, a family firm of antique dealers specialising in Russian works of art.

With a foreword by Sacherverell Sitwell and an appendix by F. J. B. Watson. 

Condition

In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, with slight discolouration to the cloth edges and light bumping to the spine head and tail. Dust wrapper has light edgewear and marks to the wrap, otherwise very smart. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages throughout.
