First edition of Casualties of Peace by Edna O'Brien in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. 

Edna O'Brien is an Irish novelist and recipient of the David Cohen Prize in 2019, among other recognised literary awards. She was appointed an honorary Dame of the Order of the British Empire in 2018 for her contributions to literature. 

Casualties of Peace is her fifth novel, sharing a story of love affairs, passion, and drama. 

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some light creasing to the dust wrapper, and an ink inscription to the price. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
