Rose's look into the history of music and entertainment from the 1890s to 1960. In particular a charming memoir about the 'Twinkle' show that was performed on Ryde Pier from 1921, continuing with great success for forty-five years. An entertaining pantomime act, the show was especially popular during the inter-war period.
Illustrated with a frontispiece, and fourteen plates.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping and a little discolouration to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrapper with minor edgewear and some light marks. Spine of dustwrapper is a little sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few odd spots to the first and last few pages.
