With two original unclipped dust wrapper.

A children's book by American author Claire Huchet Bishop, 'The Five Chinese Brothers' is a retelling of the Chinese folk tale 'Ten Brothers'.

'The Five Chinese Brothers' is a popular work, first published in English in 1938.

Illustrated throughout by Kurt Wiese.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards, and two original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, with a small chip to the tail of the front joint. A few very light marks to the boards. One of the dust wrappers is age-toned and marked with light edge wear, the other dust wrapper is much brighter, with only very minor edge wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
