This work was first broadcast in 1964 on the BBC Third Programme, and is autobiographical and spiritual in nature.

John Lehmann (1907-1987) was an English poet, known for founding the periodicals New Writing and the London Magazine.

Signed by the author.

With lovely illustrated endpapers.

Presented in a slipcase.

This edition is limited to five hundred signed copies, this being number thirty-seven.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally lovely. Slipcase is in excellent condition, with some minor wear to the extremities resulting in slight rubbing to the paper. Signed by the author to the limitations page. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
