This volume contains work from Ezra Pound's early Venetian period. His first two books, 'A Lume Spento' and 'A Quinzane for This Yule', both printed in very small runs in 1908, are included. Also present are a number of hitherto unpublished poems, at the time of publication recently discovered in the sketchbook Pound used at the time.

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with clear acetate dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. Very bright. Bumping to spine tail. Chipping to head of dust wrapper back strip, and loss to tail. Closed tear to front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
