Written by John Creasey, an English crime writer, also writing science fiction, romance and western novels, who wrote more than six hundred novels using twenty-eight different pseudonyms. The Inferno, 1965. Fires have broken out. At first they appear to be natural disasters, but they are spreading globally and into cities. Now, an ultimatum from Faustus has been issued. The Smog, 1970. It is summer and the sun shines down on people going about their business and enjoying themselves. Then a choking, yellowish smog begins to creep along the ground. The Toff and The Trip-Trip-Triplets, 1972. The Honourable Richard Rollison receives a telephone call from a seemingly charming and very enticing girl late at night, and as a result sets off to rescue her. He takes her back to his apartment where, to his great surprise he meets an identical person. The following morning there is a knock on the door, and there she is again!

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. In the original unclipped dust wrapper, also very smart with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
