This is the third volume of the history of The Queen's Own, written by Lieutenant-Colonel H. D. Chapin, the Regimental Historian.

This particular volume covers the history of The Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment between 1951 and 1961. During this period the regiment was combined with The Buffs, or The Royal East Kent Regiment to form The Queen's Own Buffs, The Royal Kent Regiment. With chapters containing information on the battalion in Malaya, Egypt and Cyprus, as well as covering the amalgamation.

With photographs to accompany the text.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light shelf wear and light handling marks. Dust wrapper is lightly soiled, with the occasional closed tear, with a larger tear to the head of the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
