In the original quarter cloth binding and paper covered boards.

This story of subtle satire takes place over a summer in a small hotel called The Chestnut Tree, the residents of whom are of sound social position. However, gossip takes over when there are speculations of financial ruin for many at the Chestnut.

In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with minor signs of shelf wear. Dust wrapper has small chipping to the head and tail of spine and light spotting to the spine's wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
