Description

Early Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

Second edition of Medieval Libraries of Great Britain, A List of Surviving Books by N. R. Ker in the original publisher's cloth binding.

This reference book of surviving books from Medieval Britain serves as a historical study both to discover what people were reading in the Medieval period, but also to discover even older histories of the books themselves.

The second edition is revised and updated from the first, published in 1941.

Prior owner's ink inscriptions to the front pastedown and to the first free endpaper dated 1965.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner's ink inscriptions to the front pastedown and to the first free endpaper dated 1965. Internally, firmly bound.
