A privately printed work, in the original paper wraps. A limited issue of 50 copies in hardcover was issued at the same time as this.
William Plomer was the publisher's reader for Jonathan Cape from 1937. This was the publishing house Fleming issued his Bond novels through and therefore Plomer was instrumental in the publication of his works, and was the dedicatee of Goldfinger.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. With original glassine wrap, which has small closed tear to the front joint. A few small creases to wrap. Small closed tear to the head of wrap Otherwise, externally the work is in a lovely condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
