What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, With Dustwrapper

The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966) was an English author and journalist. This work is the first volume of Waugh's autobiography, documenting his childhood and education. Sadly, his autobiography was not continued after this first volume, as he died two years after the publication of this work. Illustrated throughout with photographs and drawings, some of which were created by the author.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition except for a small mark to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Dust wrapper is chipped to the head of the fold of the rear flap, and to the tail of the front joint, with a little creasing to the extremities. Very small marks to a slightly sunned spine.
