1963 The Fairy Caravan
What Our Customers Say...
Description
Colour Plates, Illustrated
An illustrated work in the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, 5 further colour plates, and numerous black and white illustrations by the author. Collated, complete. The Fairy Caravan was first published in 1929 by Alexander McKay in Philadelphia. Potter felt that the stories from this work were "too personal" and "too autobiographical" to be published in the UK; however an English edition was later published in 1952. Illustrated with reproductions of lovely watercolours and illustrations by the author.
Condition
