Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities, a touch of fading to the spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down and to the recto to the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is edge worn with some loss, mostly to the spine. Light discolouration and spots to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
