Set in 1962, fifteen years after the end of the war in 1947, following several characters living in Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany, who rule over a partitioned United States.

Written by the American author Philip K. Dick, who is best known for this novel.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with a small chip to the tail of the spine and tail of the front wrap. Backstrip is discoloured. A few light spots to the wraps, with a faint tide mark to the fold of the front fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very small tide mark to the margin of the first few pages.
